Houston Television from the Archive

Tune into TONIGHT AT 7 and watch Houston television highlights originally broadcast between 1961 and 2004. Featuring curated selections from the Texas Archive of the Moving Image's KPRC-TV and KHOU-TV collections, the one-hour program showcases top news, weather, and sports stories as well as production specials and behind-the-scenes features.

The screening will feature footage contributed by KPRC-TV,  Austin History Center, Houston History Research Center at the Houston Public Library, Travis Boles, Steve Candelari, Paul and Elizabeth Nelson, Lois Perucca, Kenny Ryman, and Larry Weidman.

Screening presented by the Texas Archive of the Moving Image, Texas Film Commission, Houston Public Library's Houston History Research Center, and Houston Cinema Arts Society.

GENERAL INFORMATION

*Online reservations will end 30 minutes prior to the scheduled curtain time. At this time tickets may be reserved  in-person at the box office.

The box office opens 2 hours prior to the performance time for WILL CALL.

If you find that you are unable to use your reserved tickets please contact the box office to release them for others.
