EQUITY STATEMENT
Equity is the bloodline of Urban Souls. As an arts organization that is dedicated to representing Black people and telling Black stories, we are amongst those who are closest to inequity. Whether we are witnessing it or experiencing it, we have a unique perspective of the undoable harm that inequity can cause. To that end, we remain committed to creating a space that is welcoming, safe, and inclusive where every person can bring their full selves in our room every time.
