MISSION: Present a broad range of entertainment and educational arts programs from the Indian subcontinent, in order to preserve the cultural heritage for future generations and enrich quality and diversity of life in the Houston community.
The Indo-American Association is Houston’s longest running Indian arts organization with a mission to preserve and promote the performing arts of the Indian sub-continent. For 29 years, we have provided a platform for both world-renowned as well as emerging artists at Houston’s finest venues.
Over the years, IAA has built a reputation of fostering the appreciation of performing arts within diverse Houston communities and now in our virtual world. In 2020 and 2021, with the cancellation of our entire season, IAA Houston launched a robust digital platform and hosted more than 150+ virtual performances and productions.
