Pop Up Kino presents The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. A crazed hypnotist named Dr. Caligari travels the carnival circuit exhibiting Cesare, an alleged sleepwalker. Their arrival to one small German town coincides with a series of ghastly murders. Arguably the first horror film and one of the most influential films of the silent era, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari  launched German Expressionist cinema. 

University of Houston Professor Dr. Sandra Frieden will introduce the film.
