Michael  Holman, co-founded GRAY with artist Jean-Michel Basquiat in 1979. GRAY, an electronic art-noise band, features members Holman and & Nick Taylor. Together they create sound and music from unexpected places, in unexpected ways. GRAY uses synthesizers, film, electric hand tools anything that can be harnessed to create beautiful sounds and music. The music is accompanied by visual arts from Holman's personal collection of art, photos and filmed underground performances by b-boys and break-dancers with appearances by Jean-Michel Basquiat.
